Aeroclub

I've wanted to fly in a glider for a few years. This year, my husband gave me an intro experience for my birthday. I went on a Monday and had a wonderful time. This club is run by volunteers, so the vibe is chill and casual. Chris and Emile made it an informative and thoroughly entertaining experience, super friendly guys. My first flight was as I expected, so graceful, peaceful, floating in the air like a bird. Great take-off and landing at the hands of Chris, who even let me fly for a bit! 30 minutes of bliss in the sky, an escape from the world below - no engine, no vibrations, just the sound of wind through the vent. It only made me want to do more. I came away feeling so zen and relaxed....yeah, I'll be coming back, but I'm gonna learn how to fly this thing next time.

My wife and I both had an introductory flight.It was incredible.Having experience flying powered aircraft, I believe all of us pilots should experience this. No headphones necessary. So quiet and peaceful. Beautiful.
